Thank you for identifying this, Mary! It is so demeaning when someone comes in and usurps my mouse, and I wouldn't be able to articulate that thought if you hadn't pointed it out! I'll be sure to remember that advice when working with my students.

Final products can be visual. Writing assignments don't always have to end up in a typed essay. They can be a film, a podcast, a collage, etc. Powerpoints are today's wide ruled paper.

Hi Ben,

With your interest in Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
