I'm trying to talk myself into getting ready for the beginning of school. This year I definitely want to provide more opportunities for my students to work with technology. I have to keep reminding myself to take baby steps because my nature is to jump right into something with all my classes. A Piece of My Heart
How do you handle hearing about the death of a student? Do you feel as if you have lost a part of your heart? That's the way I feel today. Our headmaster called around noon to tell me that one of our students was killed in a wreck in Natchez last night. Kristin was 15 years old--almost 16. She was a varsity cheerleader and on the basketball team. She would have been a junior this year.
